Senior Analyst, Supply Chain
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary support and enhancements to Manhattan’s Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) module.
- Participate and contribute in requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics
- Understands technical architecture of a subset of applications within the portfolio and sometimes participates in cross-functional design
- Adhere to software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Contribute to story grooming, refinement, and corresponding software/system design in addition to implementation
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Collaborates within own team and business partners
- Helps train entry-level team members on application functionality, design, and coding standards
- Technically proficient and responsible for software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
- Responsible for translating use cases and/or technical specifications into test cases to drive software quality
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Minimum of two years of Manhattan WMOS\MAWM technical application configuration/implementation experience.
- Minimum of five years of Supply Chain experience.
- Functional experience with master data, inventory management, and analytics
- 3 + years with requirements gathering, process design, configuration, functional design, testing, conversion, and deployment experience
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Experience working with Project Management tools (MS Project, Jira, Atlassian, SmartSheet)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Process-oriented with high attention to detail
- Strong process and analytical skillset.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years experience performing requirements gathering, process design, configuration, functional design, testing, conversion, and deployment experience with Manhattan WMOS or MAWM.
- 3 + years’ experience implementing Supply Chain applications
- 5+ years experience in a large, complex, multi-unit department store, fashion, or apparel/footwear retailer
- 3+ years experience with Parcel shipping solutions like BluJay, Precision or ProShip
- Working knowledge of SQL (Oracle, MS SQL Server) via SQL Developer
- Multiple Supply Chain experiences (Implementation, Upgrades)
- Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project development methodologies.
