Responsibilities & Duties

  • Partners strategically with Regional Leadership and Regional Experience Leads to identify training needs as aligned to strategic and business objectives
  • Assesses learning needs and effectively designs and develops learning solutions aligned to strategic business objectives 
  • Uses adult learning theory principles and understands different learning styles to appropriately develop programs that reach a wide base of learners
  • Solicits input and feedback from multiple channels (e.g., interviews, surveys, etc.) to identify regional training needs and knowledge gaps
  • Forecasts training needs for the region and works with Director of Retail Initiatives to prepare and execute a plan to meet those needs
  • Ensures that Market Trainers are equipped with trainings that address the needs of their stores, gathering content from Support Center  
  • Provides coaching and feedback to Market Trainers on training coordination, delivery, follow-up, and general performance management
  • Manages the utilization of multiple vehicles, technologies, and approaches in the delivery and facilitation of training initiatives (e.g., traditional classroom, virtual classroom, technology-based learning, blended-learning, reinforcement coaching, train-the-trainer, etc.)
  • Conducts best practice research, providing functional guidance, support, and recommendations for training initiatives
  • Gathers and analyzes data and feedback from Market Trainers and Senior Leaders to understand the effectiveness of trainings on business impacts and outcomes
  • Evaluates and gathers feedback on training programs and provides input and recommendations to the Corporate Talent Development team                                     

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in instructional design, needs assessment, performance measurement, delivery, and evaluation
  • 4-year degree in Business, Human Resources, Learning and Development, or related field preferred
  • Proven track record achieving results across multiple businesses
  • History of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams to achieve objectives
  • Advanced business acumen and analytical skills
  • Previous experience navigating complex business problems, collaborating with leads across corporate functions, presenting at the executive level, working with corporate business partners, and leading cross-functional large-scale initiatives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • "Win together" mentality
  • Experience presenting at the executive level
  • Experience with a Learning Management System and Logistics processes
  • Proficient with MS Office Product Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint  
  • Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
  • Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Travel may be required, up to 50%
  • Flexible on Home Location - May work out of King Of Prussia, Miami, NY or NJ.
