JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities include:
Inputs detailed item attribute information/enrichment into PIM system to create and track items
Communicates with buying office on discrepancies
Complies with data governance policies
Retrieves UPC codes from Intertrade
Communicates with buying office and EDI team on UPC issues
Ensures depiction association for items to be photographed (includes ranging to catalogs)
Maintains item updates and adjustments through full life-cycle
Establishes and maintains excellent working relationships with buying offices and suppliers
Works with online team to ensure all merchandise is loaded to web in a timely manner
Monitors electronic lookbook
Coordinate and organize samples for all photoshoots including editorials and product shots with internal teams and vendors
Communicate effectively with vendors for time sensitive copy information needed for merchandise; insure that all information is correctly entered (FTC information)
Coordinates merchandise delivery and addresses receiving/quality assurance issues with warehouse
Communicates with suppliers and manages all product samples and returns to vendors (RTVs)
Analyze weekly reports and take necessary actions to ensure that products are sellable across all channels
Prepares presentations for photography of merchandise
Provides market preparation support for Buyer
Provides post-market support for Assistant Buyer
Supports events (special and in-store)
Performs administrative tasks for the buying office as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
Previous experience in retail, service, or other fast paced environments
Must be analytical, articulate, and organized
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must work confidently in teams
Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office properties
Quick study on new computer systems and quickly understands and incorporates new system functionality
Strong follow up and follow through to make sure all tasks are taken to full completion
