Responsibilities & Duties
- Support the visual department with all digital and production needs.
- Create one of a kind, engaging, inspiring installations and presentations that supports company initiatives and aligns with the Bergdorf Goodman aesthetic. Responsible for implementation of installations and able to deliver on time, within budget.
- Collaborate and render both pop ups, as well as full environments.
- Assist in fixture development and sample making.
- Communicate and partner with the Selling & Stock Teams, as needed.
- Monitor and maintain Bergdorf Goodman visual merchandising standards for the assigned floors and categories
Technical Qualifications
- Proficient in Sketchup, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of current trends and cultural awareness. Elevated taste level for luxury retail.
- Comfortable using power tools and multi-media for sample making and installation.
- Must be able to work on your feet and capable of lifting (boxes, mannequins, etc.) as heavy as 50lbs
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Professional etiquette and excellent verbal/written communication skills
