OVERVIEW
A Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and executing distinctive and compelling concepts and design strategies for the collateral pieces that support the Last Call brand.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Seasonal Creative Development
Seasonal & Annual Design Strategies: Works closely with Creative Manager and creative team to develop concepts and designs for each season as well as establish an annual direction. From initial brainstorming sessions through presentation.
Design Execution
Project Creative Developments: Partner with Art Directors, Copywriters and Production on developing out-of-the-box ideas for direct mail pieces, signage, emails and home page designs, that support the seasonal creative direction for the Last Call Brand.
Execution: manage the creative execution to ensure it effectively supports the direction.
Visual: works with visual team to ensure in store messaging clearly communicates the desired marketing objective.
Print Production: Manage communication with print production to ensure all retouching and color correction are accurate and project specifications are on target.
Management
Project Management: Effectively manage workflow and assignments, from initial direction through execution, to ensure all schedules are met and on time.
Communication: Effectively communicates with all team members they interact with – written and verbal – to ensure all stay informed.
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years prior graphic design experience.
Outstanding portfolio pieces of collateral pieces or magazine spreads.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite: print, digital, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong typographical design skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal.
Solid knowledge of print production processes and needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills with ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
Can-do attitude is a must.
