Th Finance Analyst position is responsible for providing analysis and interpretation of company results for the Bergdorf Goodman brand. The individual would be required to gather information necessary for analysis, prepare reports and interact with executive management. This position provides support through data mining, reporting, and analysis pertinent to management decision making.
Job Duties
Coordinate with management to create financial forecasts and plans
Prepare month end reports using excel based financial models
Forecast, analyze and provide summary of organizations trends in sales, margin and other key business indicators
Create specified ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of financial data
Develop and update models to provide analysis for various financial conditions related to business operations
Provide and own ongoing tracking, reporting and analysis of trends in various operating areas
Expense analysis including components of SG&A and buying & occupancy
Job Requirements
2-4 years of relevant experience
Strong financial modeling capabilities utilizing data from numerous sources
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and Power point
Comfortable when challenged with difficult, unstructured problems that must be solved quickly
Requires planning / organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
