Your Role
As the eCommerce Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for both the tactical and reporting elements of customer claims processing. Daily activities will include collaborating with business partners and internal stakeholders to manage the claim lifecycle, as well as actively assisting in various department initiatives designed to cut costs and improve efficiency. You'll develop and maintain strong working relationships while responding to both important and routine requests, and coordinate with our internal teams. You will report to the Logistics Project Manager and work in a remote capacity.
What You’ll Do
- Production and distribution of department reports to various groups/stakeholders with Supply Chain network.
- Functioning as a liaison between Logistics department and external carriers/vendors through daily claims processing and communication.
- Managing initiatives with a smaller scope from start to finish.
- Acting as a resource for Customer Care, Store, and Warehouse teams for any claims related questions.
- Leveraging department metrics into actionable improvements to current processes and ongoing initiatives.
- End-to-end processing and maintenance of daily claims workflow with an eye towards overall claims process improvement over time.
- Researching and analyzing customer claims to help determine appropriate actions needed.
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for Logistics team.
- Leading meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating clean, thoughtful presentations with targeted insight to aid in communicating reporting, proposals, or other department needs.
- Work cross-functionally between multiple groups and teams both internal to Neiman Marcus and external carriers/vendors.
What You Bring
- Maintain an analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.
- Keep an open line of communication with Logistics Leadership and speak up as issues arise.
- Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functions, and formulas.
- Advanced Office 365 experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
- Tableau or similar data visualization platform experience is a plus.
- SQL and Microsoft Visio experience are a plus.
