KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:  


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a computer science, information management field or business administration
  • Ten or more years’ combined experience in a Retail business and / or Information Technology role three of which in a Quality Engineering / testing role
  • Understanding of manual, automation, regression, performance testing
  • Understanding of and experience working in an Agile and Waterfall environment
  • Ability to be self-directed and to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities
  • Understand the role of testing within the SDLC and effectively advocate for the best possible customer experience of product quality within those parameters
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills are required
  • Proficiency with general purpose PC software including spreadsheets, word processing and communications and collaboration tools
  • Experience with Oracle Retail, Merchandizing, Point of Sale (Including MPOS), Manhattan WMS, EDW, BI, Marketing, Supply Chain, Credit, Finance, Accounting, Post order/Order management systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written) and Demonstrated experience leading, training and guiding small teams

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Experience and expertise working with databases like Oracle, Informix, Universe, etc.
  • Experience with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence etc.)
  • Working experience with HP tools – ALM, Load Runner
  • Experience with ETL/BI tools like Informatica, ODI, SAP Business Objects, MQ, etc.
  • Hand-on experience with Microsoft office tools
  • Experience on a Retail ERP application suite. Oracle MOM and EBS experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with WMS and OMS solutions; Manhattan WMS suite is preferred
  • Knowledge working with Service Now or similar ITSM tool
  • Experience with Selenium or equivalent technologies in test automation and must have strong knowledge in developing various automation frameworks for front-end, back-end and middle tier
  • Test tools experience JMeter, Junit, Selenium, Gatling etc.
