Jewelry Operations Associate - Bal Harbour
As the Jewelry Operations Associate, you are responsible for the daily compliance, operational and administrative tasks in Jewelry including case management, receiving, transfers, customer orders and related Jewelry Management System (JMS) activities. You support operations excellence, store sales and an elevated store environment with the goal of improving the associate and client experience. You will report to the Jewelry Manager and work within a Neiman Marcus store location.
- Demonstrate merchandise and brand knowledge and provide exceptional customer service
- Complete case management tasks including daily case counts, monthly audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Receive validation and reticketing of incoming receipts
- Process and handle of transfers and customer orders
- Help with special events and truck shows; process and reconcile necessary invoices and client orders.
- Process, track, and follow up on special orders and repair requests; communicate status to client advisors.
- Demonstrate customer-centric mentality
- Perform operational and administrative tasks related to JMS and Jewelry Protection Standards
- Maintain dedicated jewelry technology and hardware (scanners, printers, etc.)
- Manage supply ordering for jewelry in partnership with RPSO team
- Responsible for organization of drawers and safes in partnership with client advisors
- Communicate operational and procedural concerns to Sales Manager for resolution
What You Bring
- 1+ year luxury retail fashion experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrate flexibility with competing tasks
- Follow specific instructions/processes to maintain merchandise protection standards
- Basic knowledge with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
- Associates must work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
