Job Summary
Work closely with the creative, marketing, copy and merchant teams to concept and execute digital creative assets for external audiences. Collaborates with the Creative Director and Art Directors to develop digital assets consistent with the overall Bergdorf Goodman brand.
Job Duties
Execute creative vision and design that represents overall brand presentation
Develop emails and website assets with a strong understanding of responsive design.
Experience/ Ability to work quickly in Photoshop and Dreamweaver
Attend meetings with Merchant and Marketing partners to execute Marketing’s strategy.
Design daily email communication, including the exporting of html assets to third-party partner.
Work with site producers to develop technical solutions based on business needs
Create editorial content, including lookbooks, for the site.
Keep up-to-date on emerging web technologies and designing for multiple devices
Prioritize and work on several projects
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products and the luxury retail industry
Understand and execute high standards of design, typography, color and use of photography in design
Ability to work as an individual, as a close team, and with teams in NYC with ease
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably Design or Visual Communication
Experience designing for luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and support multiple functions within the department
Ability to self-manage projects and timelines
Positive attitude, team player, love for fashion
Educational Requirements
College degree in Design or Visual Communication preferred
