Job Specifics

•Leads with partnership building and committed to the “yes/and” and never loses sight of what we are solving for on the path to generate solutions.

•Understands each brand’s planning DNA in order to successfully own and lead store development and construction initiatives

•Experience managing teams from a wide array of external architecture and construction related consultants, to deliver a completed store in a fast paced and demanding environment

•Ability to artfully balance a busy workload as well as a great influencer and cross functional partner, remembering it is a multi faceted approach to solving the final design.

•Maintains the long-term location strategy of retail real estate to ensure coverage and optimal retail locations and work with our real estate partners to execute the multi year plan 

•Work with Finance + Legal  -   Establish competitive bidding, contract administration and project related legal and financial controls; monitor to ensure compliance.

•Continually evaluate and propose modifications to ensure optimal performance.

•Develop and maintain Master Project Budget - Track estimates, budgets and current forecasts

•Identify variations, and in collaboration Architecture & Interiors propose and implement solutions to maintain or improve project budgets

•Monitor on-going vendor, consultant and construction service provider qualification process

-understands priorities (such as frequency and CLV of Loyal customers, migration/graduation of transient, identification and migration of high potential new customers), and translates that into innovative solutions from a store design standpoint
-Transformational leader with a focus on creating Omni and digital experiences through our Store/s designs

- Experience building “best in class” store designs that focus on Customer Centric needs
-High energy leader…with a “Can Do” philosophy that impacts and/or enhances the overall mindset of the Store planning team
-Disciplined in project management and meeting  time-lines, budget requirements and overall project deliverables
-Experience with identifying problems and providing solutions that are well structured and generate viable solutions that positively impact the business
-High level of influencing skills at the C-Suite and  Leadership level
-Demonstrated  skills and experiences successfully collaborating and working cross functionally within an organization
 

Requirements:

•15+ years’ luxury retail experience (combined between architectural experience and store planning project management experience)
•University degree, BA, MA in Architecture or Interior Design preferred
•In-house store planning in the United States
•Extensive store planning project management experience with multi-level store build outs
•Experience performing project management job functions for construction projects (10+ years)   
•Management of a retail construction team with 40 or more current projects or units (10+ years)   
•Experience in a role bidding and negotiating for construction projects (10+ years)   
•Creation and management of construction documents (5-7 years)   
•Conducting financial analysis, budgeting and planning for construction projects (10+ years)   
•Experience using MS Outlook, MS Excel, and project or construction management program(s), such as MS Project (3+ year)   
•CAD drafting, AUTOCAD and similar software (5-7 years)
•Basic knowledge of Microsoft of Microsoft Office suite
