JOB DUTIES: Staff Engineer, BGO & BG Application for Neiman Marcus Group LLC at its facilities located in Dallas, TX. Lead large and/or complex programs/portfolios with high and sometimes critical impact and cross-portfolio scope, complexity and collaboration with cross-functional teams, both business and IT. Set future vision and roadmaps for the portfolio and contributes to enterprise roadmaps. Participate and contribute in portfolio architectural review boards to establish architecture roadmaps for the portfolio, design principals and best practices. Expert and point of contact responsible in cross-portfolio end to end business, technology, software quality, innovation, domain and architecture areas. Design solutions & architecture per best practices leveraging approved technologies and provide recommendations for improvement. Evaluate and recommend potential new technical solutions & technologies. Develop and enforce software development/quality best practices, including coding standards, frameworks, strategy, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. This position is open to remote work from approved locations in the United States.           

 

REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline Experience must include seven (7) years post bachelor’s progressive UI building experience. Experience must also include one (1) year post-bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: Building e-commerce websites using ReactJS; CI/CD build pipelines usage for UI development; Writing modular, reusable code (using design patterns) and experience with unit-test driven approach to development; and Experience working in a DevOps environment with continuous deployments.
