Requirements:
- 15+ years industry experience
- 8+ years of working experience with VMware VSphere, and VCenter, having knowledge on other hypervisors (MS-Hyper-V & KVM)
- 8+ years of experience working with server technologies including Windows, Linux, & AIX operating systems
- Experience architecting complex technology solutions for infrastructure modernization efforts
- Experience in developing dynamic systems with infrastructure redundancy to ensure high availability and disaster recovery
- Exceptional documentation skills that can clearly articulate technical designs, issues and constraints, procedures, and infrastructure assessments
- Comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, etc as it pertains to data center technologies
- Knowledge of data circuits and ability to assist in installations, activations, and cancellations
- Solid understanding of advanced networking technologies and virtualization technologies, and solutions including MPLS, load balancing, VPN tunnels, etc.
- Experience with enterprise class data center management/monitoring systems is desired (Solarwinds, Airwave, etc.)
- Expert level knowledge of scripting, AD group policy design, and Windows/AD security best practices
- Excellent presentation and communication skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts
- Strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills
