Sr. Engineer, Test Automation
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring validation and verification of functionality for eCommerce applications; performs functional and automated testing of software to ensure quality and stability before changes are deployed to production systems; works in close interaction with application development team, business users and other technical teams within the organization and throughout the software development lifecycle; primary duties of this position include story analysis, test coverage design, verification and the development of automation to validate customer facing features of our Digital Platform. Work closely with Product Management, Architecture, and Development to ensure automation framework can test the Product Software at multiple layers including UI, API, and services. This position is open to remote work from approved locations in the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, information technology or related field. Requires six (6) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following: Test Engineering in Web and Mobile Space; Application of Test Engineering concepts, methodologies to SDLC and shift left paradigm. Using Karate, Cucumber, GEB, Rest Assured, Selenide, TestNG frameworks; Using Automation tools Gradle, Maven or equivale and Object-Oriented Design & Programming; Design, implementation and maintainability of test frameworks and programming experience with Java, JavaScript, Object Oriented Design & Programming. Automation testing for Mobile application using Appium tool and Perfecto mobile, browser stack cloud platform, which involves iOS and ANDROID platforms; Agile product operating model using scrum; and Database Testing with SQL and automated Data Validations using JDBC.
