JOB DUTIES: Analyze data from multiple data sources and develop technology to integrate the enterprise data layer. Create robust and automated pipelines to ingest into analytical platforms using Agile (SCRUM) and use Software development Life Cycles (SDLC) process. Create batch and streaming mechanisms leveraging cloud native toolsets and leverage technologies used to process disparate data sets. Implement orchestrations of data pipelines using Airflow and custom applications using the Kinesis, Lambda in AWS environment. Implement automation to optimize data platform, create monitoring capabilities, cross train team members, and provide updates to all relevant stakeholders. This position is open to telecommuting from approved locations in the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or closely related IT or engineering field and six (6) years of experience as a Technology Lead or related occupation.
Experience must include six (6) years post-bachelors progressive experience in all the following:
1. Data engineering and data processing and data flows concepts and methodologies and apply them to the SDLC.
2. Data and analytics space and RDBMS concepts and data analysis using SQL.
3. Using Python and Airflow and Hive and Snowflake and REST APIs and JSON and XML and AWS services.
4. Linux OS command line tools and bash scripting.
5. Working on Big Data Processing Frameworks and tools.
