Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary
- This position is responsible for financial modeling including 3 statement modeling and working capital analysis, providing ad-hoc analysis as requested, and interpreting company results
- The individual would be required to gather information necessary for modeling and analysis, preparation of reports and interact with executive management.
Job Duties
- Coordinate with management to create and maintain financial forecasts and plans
- Prepare month end reports using excel based financial models
- Forecast, analyze and provide summary of organizations trends for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement
- Act as liaison between Finance and Treasury for cash impact purposes
- Create specified ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of financial data
- Develop and update models to provide analysis for various financial conditions related to business operations
- Provide ongoing tracking, reporting and analysis of trends in various operating areas
Qualifications - External
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2-4 years of work experience, ideally in an investment banking, private equity, consulting or professional services environment
- Experience in financial modeling and analysis (particularly in Excel), including constructing and understanding 3-statement financial models, cash flows, and scenario analyses
- Financial modeling course certification is a plus
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Comfortable when challenged with difficult, unstructured problems that must be solved quickly
- Experience sourcing data from numerous sources
- CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting expertise is a plus
- Strong attention to detail in work product
- Requires planning / organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
