Senior Director, Performance Media

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for our omnichannel customer strategy and related online/in-store business performance. 
  • Manage the budget, lead media execution (including, Paid & Brand Media, Search, Performance and Social, Coop Activation & Display, and Affiliate), and partner with Brand Marketing, Site Merchandising, Customer Analytics, and Finance teams.
  • Influence and lead our performance activation, digital profitability, marketing effectiveness, paid customer acquisition, migration and retention.
  • Develop and support a team of 10 across our performance and brand media teams. 
  • Reports to and collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Customer Analytics.
  • Develop targeted, data-driven customer journeys across all performance channels to design integrated and elevated brand stories to drive customer behavior and increase revenue
  • Lead Performance Media Channels for customer engagement and business impact
  • Enhance brand value / equity and improve customer lifetime value across paid digital media touchpoints to meet goals
  • Manage performance media strategy with a customer-centric lens, balancing organic and paid media effectiveness and driving channel activation and optimization
  • Partner with senior leaders from Marketing Strategy and Customer Analytics on data-driven insights and collaborate across finance, merchandising, analytics, CRM, customer strategy, retail and brand marketing on strategy
  • Provide feedback and coaching to Digital Marketing, Brand media, Affiliate and Paid Social teams, including communication, follow-up, and general performance management
  • Manage the performance budget, including planning, forecasting, and optimization, across paid channels, agency investments, and non-working Marketing Technology
  • Identify gaps, build capabilities, and design processes to support strategy and goals
  • 10+ years of experience leading a customer-centric, digital marketing and E-commerce focused retail organization
  • Design strategy while balancing day-to-day, hands-on execution
  • Experience across the total media lifecycle including strategy, testing, analytic measurement, distribution and optimization
  • Experience designing and delivering a customer and business strategy in a collaboration with others to achieve measurable success
  • Experience using different methodologies to understand customers, solve complex business problems, analyze data, and summarize insights while collaborating with functional leaders to ensure success across teams and strategies
  • Experience delivering presentations to executive leaders and sharing compelling ideas to teams
  • Working knowledge of Media Mix Modeling (and Multi-Touch Attribution) solutions, ad platforms (Google Ad Words), MarTech ecosystem, data visualization solutions (Tableau) and site side analytic tools (Adobe)
  • Success developing and leading teams and serving as a catalyst for action and change across projects large to small
