Regional Stores Trainer – Texas Region
Summary
The Regional Trainer will be responsible for planning, oversight and delivery of strategic training initiatives in their regional stores.  They will serve as a key resource for the senior team in each store to provide planning and logistical support, as well as facilitation support for corporate training programs. This role will also partner closely with the corporate Talent Development team providing insights and input into training program development.  Requires travel within the Texas Region (Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Houston).  Role is based in Dallas, Texas.
 
Responsibilities
Training Program Planning & Delivery
  • Defining preparation needed and rollout plans for each store for corporate training programs
  • Facilitating training and managing execution of corporate training programs and initiatives in partnership with the GMs and senior teams
  • Training local store managers or senior team members on training content, and preparing them to deliver training, when needed
  • Assessing and prioritizing training needs, and gathering content for training development efforts
  • Observing, evaluating and coaching behavior change and business impacts resulting from corporate training programs
  • Providing support for mobile learning and eLearning in the stores
 
Training Program Evaluation & Feedback
  • Evaluating and gathering feedback on training programs and providing input and recommendations to the corporate Talent Development team
  • Providing input and design/development support for new training programs
  • Performing training design and development for corporate store training programs
 
Training Program Administration
  • Tracking and reporting on training completions, business impacts/outcomes, and other training evaluations
  • Using the LMS for setting up classes, registering participants, reporting, locating materials, interacting with online communities, etc.
 
Skills
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field preferred. 
  • Experienced learning professional with experience in leadership, management, functional, and/or professional development in a retail or similar environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing and delivering learning events, either soft or hard skills
  • Competent with adult learning styles and principles
  • Possesses effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Possesses strong project management skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Learning Management/Logistics processes
  • Demonstrates proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrates strong research capabilities, detail-orientation, and planning/organization skills 
  • Competent in instructional design and development, needs assessment, performance measurement, delivery, and evaluation

Ability to travel 50-70% of the time (will vary by month)
