The Neiman Marcus Business Relationship Management team is seeking a skilled Order Management Product Manager (PM) to focus on Inventory, Allocation and Fulfillment process areas.   The PM will be passionate about advocating for the customer, has excellent product instincts, a desire for creating great experiences, a data-centric mindset, agile thinking, and the willingness to challenge the status quo. 

As an Order Management PM, you will be responsible for working alongside our business stakeholders and technical partners to build capabilities and create new processes that enable evolving inventory availability and fulfillment models across Brands and channels.  You’ll lead initiatives dedicated to improving omni channel processes to ultimately transition the Company away from legacy practices into more efficient processes.  The ideal candidate for this role would not only have experience working in an agile environment, but also possess a deep understanding of Inventory, Allocation and Order Management systems as well as knowledge of Omni channel business processes from establishing inventory availability rules through final fulfillment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Business Relationship Management

·       Builds relationships with Business Process Owners and key internal stakeholders to understand strategic goals to build Product Portfolios and program level strategies.

·       Builds strong working relationships with teams across the organization & key stakeholders to help facilitate awareness and support of business strategies and initiatives.

·       Monitors project KPI’s to measure the effectiveness of product enhancements within the Business.

·       Educates and evangelizes best practices throughout organization to build awareness of impact to business and ensure alignment for cross-team initiatives.

·       Provides support to analyze existing order flows and detail based on allocation results to recommend potential changes to ANF rules to achieve expected business results (ie improving delivery timing, shipping costs, order-to-shipment-ratio, etc)

 

Product Portfolio Planning

·       Partners with Business, Product and Technology owners to build Inventory ANF Portfolio to support strategic goals and ongoing Business needs.

·       Manages Business request intake, evaluates backlog and facilitates prioritization of Technology requests with Business Owners, cross-functional Product Owners, and Technology partners.

·       Partners with PMO and Technology partners to monitor Budget availability to support Portfolio priorities.

 

Product Management & Project Execution

·       Drives business requirements sessions to create output including Business requirements, functional stories and Business use cases, gap analysis and supporting Business Process flows.

·       Supports operational readiness tasks by performing product demos, overviews & presenting training materials to support adoption and usage of the Inventory, Allocation and Fulfillment systems.

·       Partners with Support team to research issues related to changing trends, behaviors, or performance to identify impact to Business and prioritize critical product issues.

·       Collaborate with internal and external vendor partners to help solve customer and business problems and collaborate to drive for new innovations in products and services that best meet business needs and strategy.

 

 

Qualifications:

·       Proven ability to collaborate and coordinate teams on key initiatives and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment.

·       Strong Data Analysis skills and experience with tools to analyze ANF rules and performance (eg: SQL, Advanced Excel) 

·       Strong strategic, creative thinking and decision-making skills

·       Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to deliver expected results on time.

·       Must have extremely strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain and develop internal and external relationships; collaborating across multiple business and technology functions, relationship building, and consensus building are essential.

·       Self-motivated and results oriented individual able to work independently and work collaboratively with a team.

·       Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization and communicate with a technical and non-technical audience.

Education & Work History Requirements

·       Experience in Inventory Allocation and Order Management Systems (preferably Manhattan OMS and ANF)

·       Experience with Omni Channel processes across front end stores, Ecom and fulfillment.

·       5+ Years of experience in Product, User Experience Design, and/or Software delivery

·       Passion for working in a fast Retail commerce environment is a must!

·       JIRA and Confluence as tools for Agile Project Management

·       Bachelors Degree or 4-8 years work experience in Retail field

·       Full-time
