Job Description:
The assistant photographer will work closely with Ecomm fashion photography teams supporting the online production goals for Neiman Marcus. The assistant qualifying for this position should be well organized, hard working, meticulous, and work well within a team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all photography teams producing Ecomm fashion photography as a fully functioning photography assistant.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of complete studio environment.
- Organize and prepare equipment for location shoots.
- Assist photographer on location to produce fashion or video imagery.
- Construct simple sets or backgrounds as needed.
- Maintain photography equipment.
- Handle and organize merchandise samples when needed.
- Acquire and prepare foods in snack areas for photography teams.
Experience & Skills Required:
- A clear understanding of the operation and use of a wide range of photography equipment is a necessity.
- Familiarity with photography and lighting techniques.
- Professional experience in a commercial studio environment.
- Understanding of basic commercial studio workflow.
- Self-driven, continually motivated with strong communication skills.
- Collaborator in a team environment.
- Production focused with good problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work on multiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks.
