Photo Studio Producer/Coordinator – Neiman Marcus Group

 

Job Summary:

The Producer/Coordinator is responsible for planning, facilitating, and executing all stages of Dallas-based editorial photography for Bergdorf Goodman. The role is also responsible for production reporting for all studio sell photography. We are seeking an individual with prior experience in coordinating and producing editorial location and studio shoots within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating across departments and working with both internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of initiative and thrive in independently collaborating with other creatives to achieve exceptional results.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·         Fulfill all requirements related to the production of editorial photography assignments relating to Bergdorf Goodman digital initiatives.

·         Source and schedule necessary freelance and internal talent assigned to Bergdorf Goodman editorial production efforts.

·         Source shoot locations to align with creative vision and acquire the required permits or permissions. This will require sourcing unique locations to accommodate creative requirements and sourcing locations with creative agencies when necessary.

·         Partner with on-site team members to adjust to creative changes.

·         Liaison with merchandise teams to track sample status and provide daily production updates to internal and external team members.

·         Provide model booking and model transportation needs by working with established talent agencies.

·         Arrange all necessary production elements required for each editorial assignment.

·         Schedule and coordinate pre-production and creative meetings.

·         Update and maintain photo shoot budgets and shoot calendar. Providing estimates to partners, reconciling shoots, and working with Head of Production and finance team to provide monthly reports on actuals to date.

·         Consistently source new talent available in a freelance capacity to fulfill creative needs. This will require knowledge of photographers, stylists, etc.

·         Responsible for receiving, tracking, and processing of all invoicing related to photo production for editorial photography.

·         Collaborate with Styling Manager and Art Director to achieve creative vision.

·         Provide daily reporting and tracking of sell photography production.

·         Collaborate with Studio Manager to insure proper integration of production processes and requirements.

·         Execute additional assigned tasks as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred

·         Demonstrated skill set in leadership and team guidance capabilities

·         Adaptability to constantly changing team dynamics

·         Proficient in working in a Macintosh based work environment

·         Skilled in utilizing email, Teams and Microsoft Office software for communication and reporting needs

·         Adaptability to other software solutions as required
