POSITION OVERVIEW:
In-house Photo Producer responsible for the planning and production of on-figure and still photography, budget management, and casting in collaboration with your Art Director partners. This is an OMNI-Channel role; digital, (online editorials, social, and video), print, and direct mail.
POSTION SPECIFICS:
Production/Art Buying/Project Management:
Manage small and large-scale productions by coordinating, holding and confirming all details for a photo shoot: studio,talent, equipment, etc. for flawless, on time productions.
Run the overall 360-photo production calendar and lead the weekly team planning call/meeting. This also includes: maintaining and developing holds charts and schedules and communicating that to your creative team.
Partner with outside production teams and Art Director on all elements of a photo production to ensure budgeting and timing is accurate and efficient.
Negotiate with vendorsto get best pricing and usage.
Be able to be the in-houseArt Producer as well as be an onset producerwhen needed/requested.
Financial Management/Administration:
Develop and maintain each photo production budget from start to stop for projects you are assigned—from budget planning to actualsto reconciling each job and season.
Work with creative partner to make sure all creative needs are met within budget constraints and job is spec-ed accurately for project.
Manage Neimans financial systems such as Filmmaker Pro and Oracle to make sure all billing/invoicing is up to date, done accurately, charged to correct job, and paid on time.
Work with financial partners provide monthly reports on actuals to date on all productions and maintaining OMNI Master Budgetdoc with Director.
Casting:
Manage casting in collaboration with Art Directors to secure the most brand-right talent on budget with the best usage and rates for all of your projects. This includes negotiations, suggestions and hiring all talent for your projects.
Maintain strong relationships with agents to continuously get best rates and most current talent suggestions on an agent’s board.
Provide end of season casting recaps.
Hold seasonal castings and make sure model library is up to date and know who is new, on trend and brand-right for Nieman’s when casting projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 plus years experience photo production within an established retailer, publishing company, online media co., or agency.
Minimum 2 plus years’ experience casting.
Ability to bringsolutions to the table.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Nimble with strong organizational skills,attention to detailand ability to multi-task within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Strong industry alliancesthroughout the US.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word & Excel a must.
