Operations Manager - Fulfillment Center (Night Shift)

Your Role
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for a department(s), including the management of Supervisors within the Fulfilment Center. In this role, you will report to a Sr. Operations Manager.
This opening is for the Night Shift which is Tuesday thru Friday 6:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Additional coverage may be required during peak season pending volume/business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Responsible for all aspects of employee supervision, not limited to—interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Responsible for coaching and development of supervisors.
- Responsible for operational metrics and KPI’s.
- Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers.
- Leading and developing a team Supervisors and hourly associates.
- Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
- Mentoring, training, and developing Supervisors and associates.
- Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and SOPs to Supervisors and associates
- Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives
- Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Operations Managers to balance labor.
- Evaluating performance objectives and metrics to determine department productivity requirements to achieve LOS, accuracy, and quality expectations.
- Partnering with other managers to share best practices across shifts and the network.
What You Bring
- 4 or more years related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous management experience in a distribution/fulfillment center.
