Minimum Entry Education and Experience:  

  • 4-year Degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical subject such as in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science, advanced degree preferred       

  • 6+ years of experience leading tag management and data extraction solutions for website and mobile application, with GTM experience preferred 

  • Proficient in tagging deployment for websites and mobile applications and the ability to create dimensions and metrics on web analytic tools to support reporting requirements for the business 

  • Proficient in tag testing and using debugging and emulators for website and mobile apps 

  • Hands on experience using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery and Chrome developer tools for data capture and event handling methods via the DOM event model 

  • Proficiency in manipulating properties, methods, and attributes of document objects 

  • Proficiency in managing tags in a TMS and ensuring PII, company policies, and legal requirements are in place 

  • Experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar 

  • Experience using data visualization tool (Tableau, PowerBI) and writing SQL queries preferred 

  • Retail ecommerce experience preferred 

  • Google Analytics IQ certification a plus

  • A strategic and critical thinker that can solve problems though both a shifting and transforming environment by utilizing analytical, innovative, communicative, problem solving, and leadership skills 

  • Demonstrate ability to build strong working relationships with Senior Executives, business leads, and key internal and external partners 

  • Proven record of accomplishment of partnering with business leaders to develop business goals grounded in sound data assumptions, assess, and identify risk, explain performance beyond KPIs (Key Performance Indicator), and un-cover the data that helps business leaders drive the business 

  • Ability to effectively prioritize initiatives and collaborate across teams with ability to work under tight timelines and with quick turnarounds as needed  

  • Demonstrate strategic thought leadership and ability to improve analytics maturity and drive the adoption of data driven decision across Bergdorf Goodman  

  • High-level business acumen, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to effectively present analytics data to business users  

  • Passion for excellence.  High energy, self-motivated, and results oriented
