Your Role 

As a Warehouse Lead, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the Manager and Supervisor in planning and directing daily activities and the workload of associates. You will report to the department Supervisor or Manager and work on-site at our Pinnacle Park location.  

What You'll Do 

  • You will provide support to your Manager/Supervisor by contributing to labor allocation, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers 
  • You will drive workflow and daily production goals 
  • Train, teach, and coach associates on department standard operating procedures as well as provide feedback to the Manager/Supervisor as applicable 
  • Comprehensive utilization of warehouse systems including the RF scanner, User Interface, or handwritten log as applicable 
  • Interact with internal areas as needed for problem resolution and troubleshooting 
  • Verify accuracy per SOP, and record/communicate discrepancies 
  • Attend department meetings and provide training needs/updates 
  • Flex as needed to other job assignments directed by the management team within the facility 
  • Adhere to NM Safety standards 
  • Capable of working in a team environment, and in various departments across the facility 

What You Bring 

  • Previous Manager/Supervisor experience or achieving results through others in a distribution/fulfillment center environment.
  • Support in monitoring and maintaining daily and weekly reports 
  • Be flexible to work overtime as dictated by the business 
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written 

Physical Demands

  • Requires some pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, or kneeling and lifting up to 50lbs in a warehouse environment. 
  • Requires standing and walking for the duration of a scheduled shift up to 12 hours, apart from scheduled breaks. 
  • Depending on the work area, use of stairs up to 3 flights will be required.
