Inventory Control Specialist
Inventory Control Cycle Counters are responsible for completing the following tasks:
- Auditing and maintaining physical accuracy of the inventory through cycle counting
- Researching can’t fills from daily reporting, cycle counting merchandise to maintain correct inventory levels
- Assisting Facility with problem merchandise
- Management of Inventory between the warehouse and the photo studios
- Performing physical counts of merchandise and making system corrections based on findings
- Using system generated reports for the counting of inventory
- Reconciling variances as they are found and communicating findings to the supervisor
The Associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:
- Perform basic math, and interpret both written and verbal instructions correctly
- Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Meet scheduled work hours for department and shift - Remain flexible to work overtime and weekends
- Participate in our Flex program by working in other departments
- Meet NMD physical requirements of standing, bending and lifting, etc
- Give attention to detail
- Receive and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
- MS Office Suite (specifically Excel)
- Experience using warehouse lift equipment or willingness to learn
- Accounting/Finance background a plus
- Previous distribution experience
- Sound decision-making ability
- Effective and professional communication ability, written and verbal
