Inventory Control Coordinator - Weekend Shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain efficient and accurate inventory management procedures, consistent with company policy and procedure.
- Safeguard inventory assets to facilitate shortage detection.
- Initiate and maintain an efficient cycle count strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments.
- Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily using system-generated reports for the counting of inventory.
- Reconciling variances as they are found and communicating findings to the supervisor.
- Comprehensive utilization of various technology platforms and data management systems
- Responsible for serving as a subject matter expert for the department.
- Interact with internal areas as needed for problem resolution and troubleshooting.
- Communicate business issues to the Supervisor and/or Manager.
- Be flexible to work overtime as dictated by the business.
- Proactively recommend and identify process improvements.
- Flex as needed to other job assignments directed by the management team.
- Adhere to NM Safety standards.
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to work across multiple departments if needed.
- Oversee departments in the absence of the Lead/Supervisor when necessary.
- Support in monitoring and maintaining daily and weekly reports.
- Updating department Lead/Supervisor on supply needs for processing stations
- Requires high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Essential Physical Requirements
May require some pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, or kneeling and lifting up to 50lbs in a warehouse environment.
