Engineer 1, MDM and CDP

DESCRIPTION

Neiman Marcus has an immediate opening for an Engineer 1, MDM and CDP to join our IT Marketing team in Irving, Texas. This role will be involved in the build of customer data platform (CDP) and integration with customer master to support the Ignite to Win Initiatives. Ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency to deliver projects within marketing technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, and build the Marketing Technologies focusing on delivering world class solutions for a customer data platform
• Develop (design/code/configure) high quality software solutions in a collaborative development environment, working closely with Senior Engineers
• Work closely on an agile team of product owner, other engineers and scrum master in a collaborative environment to configure systems and deliver technical solutions adhering to business requirements
• Participates in sprint planning; provides work estimates to deliver product stories; owns development stories
• Ability to interact with both technical and executive stakeholders as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related engineering degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in Engineer roles with a desire to learn Marketing CDP platform development 
• 1+ years’ experience working on cloud platform (AWS) or SAAS technologies   
• Knowledge of marketing/retail concepts and data analysis
• Knowledge of integrating internal and external systems using real-time messaging, RESTful APIs, and ETL integration tools
• Relational and cloud database experience (Oracle, Redshift etc..) with strong SQL Query analysis skills
• Strong listening, questioning, clarifying and summarizing skills to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group settings
• Experience working with cross functional teams and business users
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be a self-starter and have the desire to learn and grow
