E-Commerce Channel Manager
Role Summary:
The Neiman Marcus Group is searching for an E-Commerce Channel Manager or also known as "Personalization Channel Manager-Site/App" with experience in a/b testing, content management and data analysis. They will be a key member of a newly formed agile team that is rapidly developing and executing tests focused on new personalized customer experiences targeting new and existing customers. This includes developing relevant, real-time behavioral triggers that will delight our customers and drive engagement and sales for our business.
The Personalization Channel Manager-Site/App will be responsible for ideating, managing, executing and reporting on ecommerce a/b test initiatives generated by the agile team. This manager will serve as the key liaison between business partners, product management, and analytics stakeholders for test campaigns. An ideal candidate would not only be proficient at test execution, but also have a core understanding of site functionality, web analytics and a/b testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Work on a cross functional team of stakeholders across Marketing, Merchandising, and Product Management to strategize on test ideation for the ecommerce channel.
Manage the end to end testing process including hypothesis development, KPI selection, test execution, and results measurement.
Provide plans for optimal test execution; making recommendations for the appropriate tools, timing, and site experience.
Test setup and execution - including gathering test requirements, A/B Testing Tool campaign setup, content assignment within a CMS and QA of test variants.
Coordinate test needs with other stakeholders across the organization such as writing requirements for web development, creating content asset requests, obtaining approvals or gathering additional data.
Plan and coordinate a/b testing requests across the agile personalization team, product management squads, and user testing team; ensuring tests can run concurrently without negative impact to results or site experience.
Knowledge, Requirements and Skills
Core understanding of web content and ecommerce website functionality.
Experience with Omni channel marketing, brand or agency experience a plus
Strong knowledge of A/B testing platforms (Adobe Target or Optimizely preferred).
Experience with digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics preferred).
Experience with content management systems (Adobe Experience Manager-AEM preferred).
Deep understanding of testing, personalization and segmentation best practices.
Strong tactical problem-solving, proven cross-functional leadership, and a bias for action.
Prior exposure to agile operating models and cross- functional teams is a plus
Strong project management with the ability to manage, implement and analyze various initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Great organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to disseminate ideas and finding to all levels including stakeholders; ability to express complex scenarios with clarity & simplicity
Creative, analytical and thoughtful thinker
BA/BS degree with 4+ years managing ecommerce teams or projects, with an emphasis in A/B testing, MBA a plus
