Director, Store Space Planning And Design Capital
Responsibilities & Duties
- Research and analyze by-store data and other category management related information to understand what brands want to partner, which brands are at risk of leaving and/or have decided to leave.
- Create space planning heatmaps across stores and brands illustrating opportunities and risks for brand movement
- Coordinate with brands and merchandising representatives to obtain input and requirements for brand additions
- Analyze the $/sqft productivity by brand / space in each store
- Analyze and extract insight on the the impact of key brands on our customers “migration”, in order to inform decisions on what brands to prioritize in the floor plan evolution
- Lead the floor plan change process for brand movement based on appropriate insight and inputs such as category strategies, store priorities, adjacencies (does not include project planning process afterward)
- Partner with internal business teams to provide analysis and insights design to develop items for improvement
- Identify planogram merchandising standards and requirements per brand
- Participate in creation of submission for brand planograms and validation testing
- Provide requirements and information for all Planogram details, reporting, and input/outputs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Math, Accounting, or related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience of data analysis experience, preferred working with large scale data and customer segmentation analysis
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in BlueYonder (formerly JDA) Space Planning and Assortment Optimization (Ad-Hoc Analysis)
- Knowledgeable in Data Visualization products such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Spotfire
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills/ability to prioritize
- Retail, CPG, C-store experience a plus
- Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
