Responsibilities & Duties

  • Serves as a retail operations contributor and influencer in the creation of the Retail Experience strategy. Serve as a stores expert to consult and advise executive leadership to support operations strategy and excellence.
  • Oversee the development, refinement and execution of retail initiatives that support company strategy and continuous retail excellence
  • Responsible for driving and maximizing retail sales and profitability performance through efficiency and resource optimization for continuous operational improvement
  • Uses influence to set the tone for operational excellence for the retail organization. Oversees the development of policy, procedure and practices that maximize company profitability through labor efficiency and execution excellence
  • Lead and promote a customer centric culture of results-oriented performance in stores and through corporate cross functional relationships
  • Key cross functional business leader and collaborator to identify, develop and implement initiatives and KPI’s that deliver company goals
  • Lead direct retail perfomance & store operations team and applicable cross functional partners to plan, develop, evaluate, enhance and implement policies, procedures, and practices to ensure execution excellence, drive performance and to uphold internal and external customer service standards in stores
  • Effectively collaborate, influence, coach and motivate direct and indirect reports at varying levels to ensure delivery of exceptional performance and results.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key operational performance metrics to drive performance, focus, and improvement
  • Determines strategic objectives for the store and sets priorities accordingly

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 12+ years of store operations experience
  • 8+ years of stores / field leadership experience  
  • History of driving results and performance through building, leading, motivating and coaching direct and indirect team to achieve objectives.
  • Strong ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization, establish close working relationships, and build consensus and support for improvement opportunities
  • Adept at identifying operational improvement opportunities and working with others to generate and implement solutions
  • Strong ability to influence without authority and drive change across multiple functions in a dynamic environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong facilitation, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments at once and shift work based on business needs
  • Ability to quickly learn the high-level flow of applications and processes
  • Experience in utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive process improvements
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Travel Requirement up to 20%
