Day Shift - Warehouse Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and managers
- Leading and developing a team Supervisors and hourly associates
- Acting as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance and consistency, and taking corrective action when needed
- Mentoring, training, and developing Supervisors and associates
- Creating, communicating, and maintaining quality control policies and SOPs to Supervisors and associates
- Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives
- Building and delivering productivity plans by reviewing work forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Operations Managers to balance labor
- Evaluating performance objectives and metrics to determine department productivity requirements to achieve LOS, accuracy, and quality expectations
- Partnering with other managers to share best practices across shifts and the network
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all aspects of employee supervision, not limited to—interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
- Responsible for coaching and development of supervisors.
- Responsible for operational metrics and KPI’s.
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or 4 or more years related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
