Data Center Architect
Requirements:
·
8+
years of working experience with VMware VSphere, VCenter, Horizon &
vRealize, having knowledge on other hypervisors (MS-Hyper-V & KVM)
·
15+ years industry experience
·
5+ years of experience working with Linux
operating systems and Linux scripting
·
5+
years of experience working with AIX technologies and operating systems
·
Experience
architecting complex technology solutions for infrastructure modernization
efforts
·
Experience
in developing dynamic systems with infrastructure redundancy to ensure high
availability and disaster recovery
·
Exceptional
documentation skills that can clearly articulate technical designs, issues and
constraints, procedures, and infrastructure assessments
·
Comprehension
of networking concepts including network design principles, routing, switching,
VLANs, IP addressing, etc as it pertains to data center technologies.
·
Solid
understanding of advanced networking technologies and virtualization
technologies, and solutions including MPLS, load balancing, VPN tunnels, etc.
·
Experience
with enterprise class data center management/monitoring systems is desired (Solarwinds,
Airwave, etc.)
·
Expert
level knowledge of scripting, AD group policy design, and Windows/AD security
best practices
·
Excellent
presentation and communication skills regarding technical and non-technical
concepts
·
Strong
analytical and problem determination/resolution skills
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferably
in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering
