Customer Care Associate - Work From Home
What will you do?
- Receive inbound sales and service calls from customers shopping from our various catalogs and websites
- Receive inbound directory assistance calls from customers calling a Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman store
- Assist these customers by placing new orders or servicing existing orders and shipments
- Answer customer inquiries about store hours of operation, services, in-store events and other operational topics
- Determine customer needs and connect them to the proper retail store sales associate for merchandise answers or sales assistance
- Master the art of quickly navigating multiple desktop and web applications in the pursuit of servicing or directing these customers
- Demonstrate an unquestionable desire to provide helpful, knowledgeable, resolution to all customer inquiries
- Work within established quality and metric driven processes while showing love for our customers and fellow associates
What skills and abilities are needed to be successful?
- The ability to genuinely connect with customers and other associates in a friendly, professional, and engaging way
- The ability and willingness to own the customer concern/request and determination to find the best solution
- The ability to keep your cool during challenging customer interactions
- Fluent in English language, both spoken and written (other languages highly valued)
- Proficiency and comfort with using technology (PC and online applications) is critical
- The ability to multitask – interact via phone while using the internet and other computer applications
- Meet all work from home requirements (PC/MAC, high speed internet access, quiet location to work at home)
- Must be able to work lengthy periods of time at a desk while on the phone
