Qualifications
JD degree from an ABA accredited US law school and a member in good standing of the state bar of at least one state.
At least [5] years of progressive corporate M&A, and securities law experience, commencing at a law firm that habitually works with public and large private companies, with some in-house experience preferred.
Expertise in corporate, securities, investments, and other corporate transactions.
Ability to analyze complex issues, assess risk, balance different perspectives and needs, and provide confident and concise business-focused support and solutions in the context of the Company’s commercial goals and risk thresholds.
Flexible and able to organize, prioritize and complete multiple priorities and projects (internally and externally) in a fast-paced and frequently changing environment.
Ability to approach one’s work and clients with a sense of ownership.
Sense of humor -- a must. The drier the better.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organization skills, and demonstrated ability to establish trust and build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
Excellent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Comfort with technology and approaching solutions with a technology-first mindset; better Powerpoint skills than the Assistant General Counsel.
