Copywriter - Neiman Marcus Online
Job Summary
This position is responsible for writing product titles, descriptions, and brand biographies for Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Horchow.
Job Duties
Responsibilities include high-volume data entry and writing of product copy for neimanmarcus.com, bergdorfgoodman.com, and horchow.com
Create product copy primarily for apparel and accessories, but home and gift descriptions may be required as well
Maintain productivity standards to drive time to web
Work on several projects simultaneously
Write detailed copy from product images with speed
Enter site corrections and changes from Buyers on a daily basis
Side projects are assigned requiring ability to switch from project to project
Follow up with other departments such as Production, Category Managers and Marketing is routine
Adhere to a specific set of style guidelines
Use both online resources and reference documents to research fashion terms
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required - Journalism or English preferred
Superior-level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must be flexible and able to maintain a heavy workload and juggle simultaneous deadlines
Ability to communicate and work as a team player
Excellent time management and organization skills
Ability to work independently
Dependability is essential
Knowledge of fashion preferred
