Job Duties
•    Write clear, concise, engaging copy for marketing, editorial, and seasonal campaign messaging that captures the luxury voice of Neiman Marcus. 
•    Self-edit and proof to ensure information is factually and grammatically correct and, most importantly, on brand.
•    Work directly with Brand PR team to determine needs to support the department. 
•    Research and gather information about products, competitors, and cultural, and fashion trends.
•    Communicate with executive leadership and brands to gather information quotes and additional information for writing. 
•    Develop productive, collaborative partnerships with creative teams, fellow writers, marketing teams, and merchants.
•    Attend Brand PR, merchant and other business meetings while staying up to date on trends in luxury fashion, news, pop culture, and beauty to better inform writing projects.
•    Track messaging by competitive brands. 
•    Work with internal teams to ensure copy aligns within cross channel communication. 
•    Partner with store Brand Experience managers and leads across the country to write pitches for local media. 
•    Manage and update the press materials library. 
•    Must understand and capture brand voice in all written materials.
•    Strong attention to detail.
•    Expert proofreading skills. 


Job Requirements 
•    Minimum three years’ experience writing editorial copy for a press office / team, website, media or other publishing outlet.
•    Bachelor’s degree with major or minor in communications, journalism, English, advertising, marketing, or commensurate professional experience in those fields.
•    Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
•    Positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
•    Ability to write quickly, accurately, and creatively under pressure. 
•    Ability to adapt to change and make last-minute revisions based on business needs and direction.
•    Excellent writing and grammar skills. AP Style proficient
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sharepoint with ability to train in Wrike
