The Assistant Site Merchandiser for LastCall.com is responsible for managing the daily needs of the business including all activities related to execution of promotions, analyzing customer shopping data to improve the customer experience, and partnering with buying offices to execute merchandising strategies online.

 

 

Job Details

  • Manages set up, testing, and maintenance of weekly/ daily promotions with great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Monitor the site during all promotional changes to validate promotion through checkout is functioning correctly for any given sale, including comparing experiences on all device types (PC, phone, tablet) for discrepancies
  • Partner with Site Production, Site Merchandiser, and buying offices to manage multiple events in various stages of promotional life cycle on a daily basis
  • Manages the execution of monthly hardmarks and is responsible for merchandising the Clearance silo with accurate mappings and adornments
  • Monitors the live site daily to check for category navigation issues/opportunities and product accuracy
  • Provides competitive analysis regularly
  • Partners with Site Merchandiser on ideas, opportunities, and recommendations for promo process improvements
  • Critically evaluates email and event productivity, providing insight to merchandising teams on customer behavior and suggestions for improvement

 

Job Specifications

  • Strong computer skills are a must.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple deadlines autonomously and proactively
  • Exhibit strategic and analytical skills; ability to see “big picture” implications of a promotion
  • Must work well in a fast paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Individual must be pro-active and creative in finding new ways to increase business/sales results
  • Flexible and positive attitude; rework is a common occurrence due to fluid promotional calendar
  • Able to communicate easily and with confidence with various teams
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Previous retail or web experience preferred
