Assistant Manager, Styling

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead and develop styling team (11 + freelance)

  • Work closely with buyers and creative team to achieve common goals

  • Review and approve on-set images daily

  • Organize and review samples for style-outs and on-set shoots daily

  • Identify garment to appropriate model type and approve/select appropriate styling pieces

  • Lead team in weekly individual and team touch bases to review performance, Neiman Marcus trends and standards

  • Schedule stylists, assistants and models weekly

  • Communicate with sample coordinators as necessary for sample organization

  • Manage prop shoes, prop clothing and accessories

  • On-set styling

  • Responsible for budgets

  • Conduct annual reviews to provide input on individual performance

 

Job Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 years experience as Fashion On-set Photo Styling

  • Portfolio required

  • Strong understanding of garment construction, style and fit

  • Sense of style and taste level to correspond to Neiman Marcus Brand

  • Model casting, production and budget management experience

  • Strong communication skills at all levels

  • Multi-tasking and good organization 

  • Self-motivated and energetic personality

  • Team player

  • Computer skills a must – Mac preference

  • College degree in Fashion related field helpful but not required
