Assistant E-Commerce Manager

The Assistant E-Commerce Manager supports the web business and Director by assisting in the management of a team of Coordinators, supporting the item set-up and other internal processes, and developing and implementing best practices across both internal and external teams.


Responsibilities include:

  • Create and develop timelines for season launches/set-ups for both E-Commerce Coordinators and Merchants teams; Send out regular set-up milestones and status updates to ensure all items launch on the site
  • Assist Coordinators and Merchant teams with advanced troubleshooting as needed
  • Track progress weekly and provide updates to group to ensure all regular set up are being completed in a timely and on an accurate basis by E-Commerce Coordinators
  • Monitor reports (Not on Tree, FTC Holding Report, etc)  by Coordinator to ensure issues are quickly resolved
  • Utilize knowledge of processes to act as the point person for enhancement implications  
  • Monitor internal processes (i.e. back order management, SAR/Sample PO process with the distribution center, etc) and resolve issues as needed
  • Communication process issues and changes to merchant teams
  • Lead information meetings and training sessions


  • A minimum of 2 years' previous E-Commerce, Omni or Site Merchandising experience is required

  • Some people management and/or training experience is highly desirable

  • Must be organized and detail-oriented

  • System-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new system and their functionality

  • Must be proactive and demonstrate excellent follow through

  • Must be able to successfully prioritize based on business needs
