Alterations Manager - Orlando
Job Description:
- Lead Alterations Fitter in stores. Alterations Manager is expected to attend customer fittings and lead team of fitters.
- Plan and organize production workload of alterations garments for store team & for service center production.
- Produce work quality comparable to or better than the original workmanship of each garment altered.
- Complete garments by expected customer promise date.
- Organize work flow and distribute work to staff & service centers.
- Help motivate and/or train staff and monitor cross training of each employee to become specialized and proficient in multiple areas of sewing.
- Oversee the following specialized alterations.

- Buttonholes
- Trouser Recuts
- Knitted Hems
- Double Blind Machine Hems
- Garment made of Double Faced Fabrics
- Leather Garments

- Monitor work units and quality of each garment.
- Perform random, in-process quality inspections and develop a method which ensures 100% final inspection of finished garments.
- Report malfunctioning equipment and machinery in the workrooms
- Select, test and purchase all tailoring supplies needed through supervisor.
- Support opening and closing procedures of workroom.
- Monitor timekeeping of associates.
- Support deliveries and shipments from store to service centers.
- Establish a harmonious and positive relationship with the team and Service Center to help maintain a qualitative perception of the service among salespeople, customers and store management.
