Description
The coordinator is responsible for completing the following tasks:
- Functioning as a liaison between the Logistics department and external carriers/vendors by monitoring daily carrier pickups, linehaul, delivery exceptions, and transit standards.
- Leveraging department metrics into actionable improvements to current processes.
- Research and analysis of customer shipments to help determine appropriate actions needed.
- Producing and distributing department reports to various groups/stakeholders with Supply Chain network visibility.
- Weekly and monthly carrier metrics are presented with cost, transit, and claim data analysis.
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the Logistics team.
Qualifications
The associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:
- Work cross-functionally and present data analysis to multiple groups and teams both internal to Neiman Marcus and external carriers/vendors.
- Attention to detail and ability to challenge and streamline existing processes.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple workstreams at once.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Actively support team projects and effectively communicate with team members.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced Excel knowledge including but not limited to pivot tables, slicers, complex functions, and formulas.
- Advanced Office 365 experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
- Tableau or similar data visualization platform experience is a plus.
- Microsoft Visio experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
