The Corporation Communications/Public Relations Director for Neiman Marcus Group is responsible for spearheading the strategic development and execution of integrated corporate and brand communications. The role is intended to actively strengthen Neiman Marcus’ brand equity and provide an innovative and integrated communications vision, driving NMG as an innovative thought leader.
This role develops and executes PR/Communications strategies for all corporate initiatives, vendor partnerships, exclusive launches, tech introductions, brand building exercises, new store markets, executive profiles, lifestyle/brand/trade stories, promotions and events at Neiman Marcus, Last Call, Horchow. In addition to developing and executing strategies, this role develops benchmarking tools and success measures.
This role constantly develops new and maintains current positive and fruitful relationships positioning NMG as modern and collaborative with international, national, and local digital, print and new media. This role oversees creation of written press materials including kits, releases, company history files, and executive talking points.
The PR Director closely partners with VP with regard to Corporate Communications, crisis, business matters, executive media support, and brand partnerships. This position works closely with merchant division, events, marketing, social media and advertising teams, and external vendor partners to maximize media and communications opportunities.
In this role, the PR Director serves as a PR/Communications mentor to 42 NM Store PR teams.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience leading a PR/Communications department

A BS/BA degree in a related field
