Director, Associate DMM - Men's
JOB DUTIES
Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrate leadership within the division to execute strategic initiatives and deliver on Merchandising business objectives
- Work with planning organization to ensure merchandise and financial plans reflect goals and objectives of strategic initiatives
- Accountable for leading and driving change while building cross-functional teams that are continually focusing on the customer
- Learns and knows the competitive marketplace, identifies current trends, and understands the customer and business model to inform strategic and tactical decisions
- Guides merchants and collaborates with Planning Department to drive financial plans and forecasts.
- Provide coaching, training, and develop, feedback to direct reports and merchandising team
- Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute action plans that deliver strategies and financial results including Planning, Creative and Marketing
- Performs additional tasks as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience in a merchandise management role within a high-volume multi-unit merchandising organization in a fashion apparel or home fashion category
- Demonstrated management skills, mentoring, and developing a merchant
- Expert knowledge of industry trends, competition, assortment planning, customer behaviors, inventory management, logistics and marketing techniques.
- Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
