Job Summary

 

Neiman Marcus is looking for an exceptionally talented and passionate Web Designer with outstanding creative design skills to work on multiple exciting projects for Neiman Marcus.com. The Web Designer will execute editorial emails, online editorial content and site support for our brands.

 

 

 

Responsibilities/Objectives

 

• Design site creative, support for upcoming events and promotions & email creative

 

• Partner with Design Manager to execute seasonal campaign & site content strategy

 

• Develop new ideas with SEO in mind

 

• Partner with Marketing on upcoming events

 

• Work with Site Merchants on visually communicating to the customer

 

• Work with Design Manager to create userflow for events and strategies

 

• Develop new editorial ideas for emails and site content

 

• Collaborate with peers to generate inspiring creative ideas to elevate brand experience

 

• Evolve and elevate the aesthetic of the brand while keeping in the overall brand direction

 

• Keep up-to-date on industry trends in fashion, luxury retail and technology

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

• Bachelor’s Degree

 

• 0-3 years experience in an online and/or E-commerce environment

 

• A thorough understanding of web production and the capabilities within digital channels

 

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver/HTML, and InDesign

 

• Knowledge of UX/UI

 

• Knowledge of fashion and retail

 

• Strong analytical ability and impeccable design sensibility

 

• Clear and concise written and oral communications skills

 

• Detail oriented and team-player attitude

 

• Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to change, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
