Job Summary:

 

Returns Team Leads are responsible for completing the following tasks:

 

  • Remaining fully aware of department goals by monitoring all daily reports.
  • Ensuring that the work flows according to a FIFO strategy.
  • Distributing work to team members to ensure department goals are achieved.
  • Ensuring team associates follow proper procedures.
  • Training new associates.
  • Maintaining excellent cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
  • Assisting and supporting supervisor, manager and director on special projects as needed.
  • Other tasks as required to meet team goals.

The Associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:

 

  • Remain professional, fair and consistent in interacting with the NMD team.
  • Actively support team concepts and effectively communicate with team members.
  • Identify and address / elevate team productivity and quality concerns.
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast paced environment; multitask with ease.
  • Maintain high level of safety awareness; provide safety feedback constructively.
  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
  • Remain flexible to work overtime, as scheduled.
  • Meet NMD physical requirements of standing, bending and lifting, etc.
  • Give attention to detail.

 

Requirements:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

 

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office Suite capability.
  • Previous lead, supervisory or management experience and/or previous experience achieving results through others.
  • Advanced problem-solving experience.
  • Excellent, timely and professional interpersonal communication skill.

 

Essential Functions:

Essential Physical Requirements

 

·         Lifting Objects weighing up to 25lbs from the floor to over-head level.

·         Lift objects weighing up to 45lbs from the floor to waist.

·         Continuous/frequent walking or standing for long periods of time.

·         Continuous/frequent pushing or pulling heavy carts – up to 50lbs.
