Sr Specialist, Social Media Strategy and Insights
Job Summary
We are seeking a Social Media Strategy and Insights Sr Specialist for Neiman Marcus. In this role, the Sr Specialist will support the creation of social and influencer strategy, campaign insights and innovation projects. The Sr Specialist will develop quantitative and qualitative insights to drive the future of Neiman Marcus Social media Presence on owned and earned channels, while staying abreast of new and emerging platforms, digital culture, and technologies. The goal is to continue to evolve our role of channel as the industry evolves as well as increase our sophistication in earned media marketing techniques, understand their impact, and increase consumer engagement and loyalty.
An analytical and problem-solver mindset, quest for constant optimization, high attention to detail & and an appetite for innovation are critical skills for success in this role. This position will report to the Manager, Social Media Strategy and Insights while partnering closely with the brand media and marketing teams.
Position Responsibilities
Social Strategy & Planning
Support manager in partnering within the marketing strategy/effectiveness team to define social and influencer role as part of the broader marketing & brand partnership strategy
Works with content & paid social manager to develop seasonal and co-op plans
Contribute to overall platform & innovation strategies through insights and trends knowledge
Insights & Reporting
Onboard and manage social listening & reporting tools
Social Listening & Trends Identification leveraging tools and industry resources
Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting & tracking across all social channels
Works with paid social on optimization recommendations
Works with content manager to understand what content is performing well and how to evolve
Influencers Brief & Strategy
· Influencer identification and evaluation
· Influencer planning (Onboarding Agency, Stores, SA's, etc)
· Collaborate with social content specialist on activation / execution
Job Requirements
4-5 + years industry experience
Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred.
Experience in Social Media, Influencer Strategy and social media listening tools (i.e. Sprinklr, Khoros, Metlwater, etc)
Excellent understanding of social platforms, audiences, paid tactics and digital trends. Ex
