Sr. Manager, Omni Engineering, Styling Systems

JOB DUTIES: Plans, designs, ad executes niche styling related initiatives to support customers as well as store associates across online and store experiences. Manages multiple complex work streams across product roadmaps required to execute large scale initiatives and programs using agile development practices that deliver highly reliable systems on-schedule, on-budget, to the committed scope. Provides direction, collaborates within and across the org including IT/Non IT teams, owns the responsible domain areas, leads the team(s) in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning and standard development practices. Identifies opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement across all facets of work output from the teams.
This position is open to telecommuting from approved locations in the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and 10 years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience as a Software Engineering Manager, Technical Consultant, Consultant or related occupation.
Experience must include ten (10) years post bachelors progressive experience in following:
1. Engineering
Experience must include five (5) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
2.Delivering and operating large scale, and highly available (H) web/mobile applications.
3.Working with distributed systems and microservices and SOA and SAAS and Event Sourcing, and CQRS, and Event Bus, and Event Bridges.
4.Working with applications in Agile blended teams with business operations and product management.
Experience must include four (4) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
5.Overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
Experience must include three (3) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
6. Event driven architecture and technologies: Kafka and RabbitMQ and SQS and SNS and Spring Boot and Spring Cloud and Spring Security
Experience must include two (2) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:
7. Managing multiple team(s) of software engineers (both frontend and backend engineers)
8. Managing budgets and product roadmaps and tracking and deployment of software products.
