Key Performance Elements/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end to end testing process including hypothesis setting, test design, KPI selection and goals, requirements gathering, test execution, and results measuring
  • Perform actionable diagnostic analysis on customer attribute and online/offline behavior data to produce quality insights, drive business strategies and inform the testing & Product Management roadmap  
  • Apply advanced statistical methods in both test design and measurement aimed at improving experiment accuracy and learning opportunities
  • Query, manipulate and transform data from multiple sources to produce a comprehensive view of the customer behavior during experiments
  • Develop analytically sound approaches to answering business questions while demonstrating resourcefulness in obtaining and cleansing data when comprehensive information is not available
  • Partner closely with the Site Analytics team to interpret data, identify key findings, and make recommendations based on testing results
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker and ability to bring innovation and leadership
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage, implement, and analyze various initiatives in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Minimum Entry Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Applied Mathematics, etc) or sufficient on the job use of related skills. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience using web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar in an e-commerce environment (Adobe Analytics preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience with a testing and optimization tool (Monetate, Optimizely, Test and Target, etc)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive experience analyzing customer attribute and behavioral (transaction, web browsing, marketing channel interaction) data
  • Experience using SQL, SAS, Python or R to transform, manipulate and analyze data preferred
  • Ability to effectively partner with cross functional teams across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously with minimal supervision
