Seasonal Weekend Order Filler

The position requires weekend shift availability for four, 10-hours shifts, Saturday through Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Actual hours may vary based on business needs, and overtime may be required.   The order filling associate is responsible for completing the following tasks:

• Wearing and interacting with headset technology to fill customer orders.
• Locating merchandise in the correct warehouse location, in the correct size, color, etc. according to customer order specifications.
• Preparing and distributing ticket batches.
• Handling issues such as “can’t fills,” errors, etc.
• Other tasks as required to meet team goals.
  
  

The Associate must demonstrate the willingness and ability to:

• Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal.
• Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
• Focus and remain on task in a fast paced environment.
• Meet scheduled work hours for department and shift.
• Remain flexible to work overtime, as scheduled.
• Meet NMD physical requirements of standing, bending and lifting, etc.
• Give attention to detail.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

·         Attention to detail in order to verify accuracy of work.

·         Experience in productivity-based environment.

·         Basic reading and numerical comprehension.

·         Ability to follow directions with a minimum of supervision.

·         Ability to work effectively alone or in a team.

·         Must be punctual, reliable, and have flexibility to work overtime as needed.

·         A high school diploma and previous warehouse experience are preferable, but not required.

• Meet NMD physical requirements of standing, bending and lifting, etc.

·         Additional tasks as required.

Essential Physical Requirements

·         Lifting Objects weighing up to 25lbs from the floor to over-head level.

·         Lift objects weighing up to 45lbs from the floor to waist.

·         Continuous/frequent walking or standing for long periods of time.

·         Continuous/frequent pushing or pulling heavy carts – up to 50lbs.
